Your loved one's health and safety are very important to us. In dentistry, we have strict standards and practices set by the ADA, CDC and OSHA. We are now increasing those protocols. These are just a few of the changes we have implemented for the safety of ourselves and our patients:
1-All Senior Smiles staff have had the COVID-19 vaccination. We will follow community entry screening procedures, including taking our own daily temperatures.
2-We will not visit communities that currently have staff or residents that have tested positive for COVID-19 within 30 days.
3-We will screen our patients by taking temperatures before treatment and minimize the number of patients seen by providing services for one resident at a time.
4-We have increased the amount of personal protective equipment including masking, face shields and using more disposable materials. We will continue to use OSHA approved infection prevention and cross-contamination disinfectants and asepsis procedures after every patient.
We love what we do, so we will do whatever it takes to keep providing outstanding dental services for our residents.
Several dental health issues arise as we age. These include dry mouth, root cavities, fungal infections, oral cancer, and gum disease. Our services can help prevent painful emergency dental situations and give your loved one a better quality of life.
Medical studies have shown that having dental care can help prevent chronic diseases and infections. By removing bacteria in the mouth, we can help reduce the incidence of aspiration pneumonia, heart infections, and other deadly health ailments. Proper oral care can help prevent needless suffering.
Senior Smiles provides an important service for a growing population. Today’s seniors keep more of their natural teeth than ever before. We use time-tested products to help prevent tooth decay and control plaque levels. All of our registered dental hygienists are trained in elder care and dedicated to providing gentle and compassionate care.

Teledentistry connects the Senior Smiles provider with the local dentist, specialist's, and family members. Using state-of-the-art live stream video and an intraoral camera, we have the opportunity to communicate and collaborate remotely for better patient care. The hygienist captures patient imaging data on the camera for treatment planning, recommendations, instant referrals and follow-up appointments. This can all be done without the resident having to go to the dental office. All of our patient record documentation and imaging is stored in one secure place that is accessible for sharing.
